1. What types of therapy do you offer?
We offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). Each approach is tailored to meet your individual needs and goals. You can learn more about these therapies here.
2. How much does a session cost?
Each online session costs £80 and a face-to-face sessions costs £100.
3. How long is each session?
CBT and IPT sessions typically last 50 minutes, and take place weekly.
EMDR sessions could last up to 90 mins.
4. How many sessions will I need?
This depends on your goals and the nature of the difficulties you're experiencing. Some people benefit from short-term work (6–12 sessions), while others may need longer-term support. We’ll discuss this together in the initial sessions and regularly review progress.
5. Do you offer online or in-person sessions?
All sessions are offered online or in-person. Online sessions are held via a secure video platform and face-to-face sessions will take place in South Woodford, East London, E18 (two minutes’ walk from South Woodford underground station).
6. What qualifications and accreditations do you hold?
I am an accredited CBT Therapist, Interpersonal Therapist, EMDR practitioner and an Occupational Therapist. I am accredited with BABCP, IPT UK, HCPC and a member of the EMDR Association UK. I have over 20 years of experience working in NHS’ mental health services.
7. What issues can you help with?
I work with a wide range of issues including anxiety, (OCD, health anxiety, social anxiety), depression, trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem and grief. If you're unsure whether therapy is right for you, feel free to get in touch to discuss your needs.
8. Is everything I say confidential?
Yes. Sessions are confidential and your information is handled in accordance with professional ethical standards and data protection laws. There are rare exceptions to confidentiality, such as if there is a serious risk of harm to you or others - this will be explained clearly in our first session.
